Maldives 2019 – again Hanimadhoo

Hi Guys,

Yes, I did it again if it sounds a bit decadent Anyway I don’t care. I had the opportunity, in a short time – a three months, to fly back to Maldives again, so why not to use the chance?

As I wrote in my last Maldives post, the main reason why I went back to paradise, was my newly discovered passion – diving. I had so many Worries, that it might not be so cool like the first time. At that time I said: my trip in November was the best trip of my life. Well… what should I say now …. The second one was even better

Unfortunately my instructor Luca had to leave the Maldives. Sure it was like the end of the world for me on that day… But then I continued my diving course with Martin, I already knew him from my last trip in November And I have not regretted a single minute

Some peoples have even been waiting for me – like Aini, my new friend, she works there And then of course I met again many new peoples. A solo trip has it’s advantages and I don’t understand why peoples saying that traveling alone is a bad and boring idea

Do you want to know if it’s worth flying to the Maldives? … many will say that it is boring there after 7 days … Hmmmm not for me! I did not had a spare minute to lie on the beach and do nothing But even if … I would not be bored anyway … And yes, it’s a paradise there.

The diving was successful too – thanks Martin – I really love it! This time, I finished my OWD certifications and even a special course – Nitrox. The Question: is’t better to dive with the nitrox or with the air? Some divers say that you are less tired if you dive with nitrox…. I didn’t notice any difference. … I am not tired with air either But with nitrox you can stay at a certain altitude for longer. However, diving has one drawback – it is sad to see the corals die because of the climate change.

Otherwise I have enjoyed every day and would even go back there And I would, but I already know all the diving spots around Hanimadhoo … Maybe I fly back to the Maldives but then to another atoll. I think the Maldives will always be my favorite place on earth for me. But for my next diving trip in November I am ready for Zansibar….
