The Small, White Hedgehog – A Sweet Accessory

In the pictures is the Lover´s Bridge in Hannover. I believe that every city has one of this… where lovers, before the most important event in their lives, affix a lock to the bridge fence. The legend says that they bind their hearts forever so that nothing in the world can come in between them. That’s why they take a lock, lock it, and then throw the keys to the bottom of the river so that nobody can ever find them Sweet and romantic!!!

Recently I had a nice surprise such as this and had the chance to visit this bridge!!!

I think you can see the couples’ locks in the pictures above. You know, I think this custom is a nice tradition… especially when I see two people are in love. They believe in each other, in their bright future together, in the sunny days that are yet to come (even if they are literally rainy days), in the small things that for them means the world…

I have to tell you the story of my shell ring that looks so beautiful and so natural. It was a present which was brought from far way, from the shores of New Zealand. But not purchased like the rest of the jewelry – but found!!! Can you imagine what beauty and joy this ring brings me?!!!

It’s a ring-shaped natural shell, which was decorated by me with small Swarovski stones that go perfectly together.

I hope you´ve also noticed my small, white & sparkly hedgehog that doesn´t curl and doesn´t sting. He is so quiet and nice, pure and simple. He’s just a sweetie! . This hedgehog brooch was a gift… and I love it a lot. Plus, it´s accomplishing its mission: it is a symbol of good luck and prosperity. It’s an elegant accessory that improves any of my outfits. I never hesitate wearing it every time I wear the Opililai dress and the Escada turtleneck shirt, because it’s matching the best with these items!!!
