Chanel Illusion D’Ombre Eyeshadow

Today I wanted to share with you one of my favorite eyeshadows. It’s by Chanel, and it’s from their Illusion D’Ombre line. They come in a small selection of colors, most of them fun and bright, and they sometimes release limited edition colors with their special makeup collections. I have the shade number 81, Fantasme, which is a frosted, silvery white.

These eyeshadows come in glass pots, and feel like cream at first. They slide on and look rich and vibrant like cream, but dry down to a powder that stays on forever. You can use them on their own or undearneath a different powder eyeshadow, to change the color or make it deeper.

They’re similar to MAC paint pots or Maybelline color tattoos, but they have a much richer and luxurious feel. They go on like a dream and they’re nearly waterproof! They are a little bit pricey, but you only need to use a little, so they’ll last for a very long time. They’re absolutely worth it.
