Sofitel Berlin Gendarmenmarkt

Hi Guys,

some of you might be interested where I stayed during the Fashion Week in Berlin :)

I chose the Sofitel Berlin Gendarmenmarkt as my home for a few days. Why this hotel? Because I didn’t want to live too far from the Brandenburg Gate and the MBFWB tent. The hotel has a perfect location not only for MBFWB, but also for a weekend trip to get to know Berlin. OK, Berlin is large, yet you can reach many attractions from the hotel by foot. And for shopping lovers its a great location, too ;) Just around the corner is the Galeries Lafayette and many other boutiques in Friedrichstrasse ;)

The Sofitel has made a good swage. Very nice staff that made my stay very enjoyable :) My room was quite small but sweet furnished with style and refinement, and it offered a great view to the French Cathedral and the Concert Hall. The breakfast buffet was great and offered a huge selection of just about anything you could wish :) But because I eat so little, I could not try everything – maybe next time ;) Overall a cozy hotel, with nothing to complain about ;)

Hi Guys,

What do you think about my dress? I did wear it at Fashion Week, but with a blue bag and blue sandals ;) . Unfortunately, I didn’t manage to take outfit photos in Berlin :( Everything was so mega busy ;) At least I did take one photo in Berlin and added it to this post – so you can get an idea ;) ;) Which combination do you like more?

MINX by Eva Lutz SS 2016

Hi Guys,

in many show I always was missing a wedding dress. MINX by Eva Lutz has one … For me, this wedding dress was a hightlight – it is really fantastic ;) I could waer it at my wedding, too ;)

Another highlight on the catwalk were the plus-size models ;) I think, this is super cool, because we normal people are not runway models ;)

I liked the Spring / Summer 2016 MINX by Eva Lutz collection very much. Modern filigree cuts, great materials, adapting smoothly to the body and thus making a perfect figure – very feminine. And there is a wide range of long evening made dresses from fine fabrics. In my opinion, somethink like this has been missing in the market for a long time ;)

How do you like the collection?

RIANI SS 2016 ” JET SET GIRLS”

RIANI again delivered a decent show this season. During the opening of the show Rebecca Mir and Massimo Sinato surprised the audience with a short dance show.

Chief designer Ulrich Schulte has set a romantic and sexy look. The collection is dominated by white, as blue and green colors.

Collection and show to have met my expectations completely – the show was really special :)

Which look do you like most?

Rebekka Ruétz SS 2016 “A Touch of Frida”

Hi guys,

MBFWB SS 2016 is over and has left a lot of impressions ;)

My favorite in the shows I’ve seen is Rebekka Ruétz. She named her collection this time after the mexican painter Frida Kahlo.

The looks are fresh and feminine with a spirit of extravagance – something I like very much ;) Modern straight cuts, perfect fit, filigree silhouette – all this is waiting for us next spring and summer. As materials Rebekka Ruétz did choose silk, cotton, lace and leather imitations. The printed fabrics with different patterns impressed me – in special flowers.

As eye-cacher accessory there is a cool belt – that cannot be overseen …

Anyway, I’ve really fallen in love with a few looks. Fortunately, time flies by quickly, and you will see my favorite look next summer in one of my outfit post ;)
