Sofitel Berlin Gendarmenmarkt

Hi Guys,

some of you might be interested where I stayed during the Fashion Week in Berlin

I chose the Sofitel Berlin Gendarmenmarkt as my home for a few days. Why this hotel? Because I didn’t want to live too far from the Brandenburg Gate and the MBFWB tent. The hotel has a perfect location not only for MBFWB, but also for a weekend trip to get to know Berlin. OK, Berlin is large, yet you can reach many attractions from the hotel by foot. And for shopping lovers its a great location, too Just around the corner is the Galeries Lafayette and many other boutiques in Friedrichstrasse

The Sofitel has made a good swage. Very nice staff that made my stay very enjoyable My room was quite small but sweet furnished with style and refinement, and it offered a great view to the French Cathedral and the Concert Hall. The breakfast buffet was great and offered a huge selection of just about anything you could wish But because I eat so little, I could not try everything – maybe next time Overall a cozy hotel, with nothing to complain about
