Trading Bags and Memories…

I love playing in my own closet, but it’s even more fun when you get to explore and play in someone else’s closet! Have you ever traded closets with a friend??? It should be on your to-do list. They may have something hiding deep in the back of their closet that you would love to wear or use. Who knows maybe your pal will want that crazy old dress hanging at the back of your closet that you just haven’t had the heart to get rid of.

Last summer, I was visiting one of my favorite people in beautiful Sicily and we made a trade… We loved each other’s bags so much that we decided to swap. I fell in love with my new purse and she fell in love with hers, so we decided to make that trade permanent. It now resides in my closet. Now every time I wear my fabulous Anna Cecere purse, I think of my wonderful friend and my trip to Sicily.

Have you ever been to Sicily? Sicily is such a beautiful and complex place. The food, the people, and the culture are so different. Although they are only a short boat ride from the mainland, you feel like you are a world away… If you have been, you know what I’m talking about and if you haven’t, it should be on your bucket list

Today I am wearing Roberto Cavalli Angels overalls that I picked up in Copenhagen. With this black on black, I feel a little like Sandy in the movie Grease. Well, minus the crazy permed hair and John Travolta. I paired them with a pair of Pretty Small Shoes – You have to laugh at the name because as you can see that they are anything but pretty small! I love how tall these heels make me look!
