Swarovski charm, bracelets, brooch, ring / Andres Machado sandals
Holá,friends!
In today’s post, I am joining you again from beautiful Madrid. I spent a few days here and it was devine! Travel is food for the soul and after these few wonderful days in Madrid, I feel nourished. The people are so vibrant and beautiful here. The city center is rich with history and art. I just wanted to drink it all in. Too bad I had to leave
After taking a stroll around town and doing some shopping (which Madrid has plenty of – I was in heaven), I stopped to take this picture near the Puerta de Europe at Plaza de Castilla… it’s a skyscraper in town and near the hotel that I stayed at.
How do you like my shopping outfit? I chose to wear an eclectic mix of Roberto Cavalli Angels denim jacket, Trigema pants, Burberry top and my new Andres Machado sandals. For this nice outfit I also needed the ICE Iceberg purse, Thomas Sabo bracelet, Swarovski bracelets, Swarovski brooch and D&G scarf. I thought this outfit would be the perfect homage to Madrid and her wonderful, eclectic people.
OK, so let’s talk about the shopping! Whether you are at the Principe Pio Mall (a converted rail station with your mall shops like H&M), the Calle Serrano and all the wonderful luxury shops, or at the Carrera de San Jeronimo with its unique antique shops, there is something for everyone!
Did you know these fun facts about Madrid???
• The name Madrid comes from the Arabic “magerit” – meaning “place of many streams”
• Madrid is the highest capital city in Europe and is 650 Meteres above sea level
There is your another lesson about Madrid for you So, have you ever been to Madrid? What did you do when you were there – take in one of their museums or did you shop your day away? I would love to hear about your Madrid trips as well
I am back home now and back to the real world, but I am still daydreaming of Madrid …
Hasta Ahora, lovelies! I will see you soon!
