Modern bohemian fashion is essentially re-imagined trends from the 1960s and 70s. Celebrities like Cara Delevingne, Nicole Richie, Vanessa Hudgens and Mary-Kate Olson rock the boho trend, using it to express their care-free attitudes. Bohemian styles have come and gone throughout the years, but this summer boho chic is back in a big, bad way!
The retro inspired matching hat and dress set I wore were bought from Escada two years ago. The print used on the loose dress and floppy hat remind me of floral prints used on dresses back in the 1970s. Orange was a popular color back in the 70s My black belt I wore is another item I bought from Escada. The Escada brand was founded in Munich, Germany during 1976, and is known for their unique fabric prints.
Four years ago my friend from Sicily gave me a Cuve’ handbag as a gift. The bag is woven to look as though it has zebra stripes, and the purse is nice and big so everything I need to bring with me, fits right in!
To complete my bohemian inspired look, I wore a beautiful pair of Moda di Fausto shoes that I added an orange flower onto. The flower I made myself, as part of a DIY project. I think the orange flower is very fitting for this outfit, don’t you agree?
