New York Welcomes Ladurée

I couldn’t keep my excitement upon knowing that Ladurée macarons are now available, not just in Paris, but also in the great New York!

Ladurée is one of my favorite sweets shops in Paris. Some years ago, they also opened a small shop in Manhattan. It seems that New Yorkers have warmly welcomed Ladurée and is in a real Ladurée fever! Everywhere I go, I see Ladurée paper bags. Of course, I personally invited myself to go to a Ladurée shop, too!

I am simply in love with Ladurée’s wide array of choices on their macarons, as well as all Ladurée stuff. I can only say that they are the makers of the best tasting macarons that I have ever tried. My personal pick is the raspberry flavor, which I consider my favorite. Upon visiting the New York shop, I had the
chance to try out the Ladurée violet ice cream for the first time, and I must say that the taste totally impressed me!

My discovery of how New Yorkers welcomed Ladurée did not end there. As a matter of fact, I found a complete collection of Ladurée shirts at a Uniqlo store on 5th Avenue. Uniqlo especially created a collection dedicated to Ladurée. They only offer a special collection on women and girl’s clothes. And what do you expect of me? Of course, I could not resist the urge and I got myself a t-shirt, too! I love how the shop was decorated with different Ladurée ornaments and decors. It shows that everybody, including the seemingly picky people of New York loves Ladurée macarons.

Everywhere I go, I can see boxes of Ladurée macarons. It is a wonderful feeling that the shop I love in Paris did open now its doors to the people of New York, letting them taste heaven at first bite!
